Vacchiano #1.25 Trumpet Mouthpiece

This is the best mouthpiece I've ever owned, and I've owned many hundreds of mouthpieces during my lifetime! The craftsmanship and design is extraordinary; in fact, one of the unique characteristics is the stability of the low C, which is not common to other Stork mouthpieces I have owned. My only wish is that the design were somewhat heavier in weight. The reason Monet mouthpieces have been so successful is that the weight of the mouthpiece balances the tendency of the Bach B flat trumpet to be bell-heavy. By having an instrument in your hand which is well-balanced in weight, it is easier to do the kind of pivoting employed in trumpet playing. Too bad that gold is so expensive these days; perhaps you can find some plating that is just as smooth and comfortable, and less expensive!
